Tuesdays 6-7:30pm April 9th - May 21st

Occasional opportunities to docent during Open Hours on Sundays

COVID vaccines are preferred, but not currently required.

Zoo Club is for high school students who demonstrate an interest in learning more about animal care, in a zoo like setting. Students will prepare diets, feed animals, create enrichment activities, and learn how to do basic health assessments. Due to the advanced nature of this program, students will need to demonstrate the ability to follow directions and safety procedures. If you are interested in a career in animal science or veterinary science, this club is for you!

To apply: Send a 1 to 2 page essay on “Why you would like to be a part of this program” along with a letter of recommendation from a teacher. Please include your name, age, experience with animals (including pets!), and any career interests you have. Send your application materials to education@thecreatureconservancy.org with the subject line "Zoo Club Application - (your name)".

Selected applicants should expect to hear back by April 1, 2024
